Jon and Hayley Painter are delighted to welcome you to Merkins Farm! Located on the outskirts of the picturesque Saxon town of Bradford-On-Avon and just 20 minutes drive from the Georgian City of Bath.
Merkins Farm is a quiet country retreat, with far reaching views over the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. We have three contemporary holiday cottages, all converted in 2006. Each cottage has been converted and decorated to a high standard, all with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams, with gas central heating, and each with its own private garden. The Plough Inn is just 500m stroll down the lane. Bed linen and towels are all provided at no extra cost.
We pride ourselves in providing a relaxing and comfortable stay for all of our guests.

Accommodation:
Tickleberry is a three bedroom barn conversion with everything you would expect for everyday living. You will find an incredibly well equipped fully integrated kitchen, including a dishwasher and washing machine. The bathroom has a washbasin and WC and there is a separate shower room also with a wash basin and WC. The sitting room has comfy leather sofas so you can while away the hours admiring the far reaching views over the Wiltshire countryside. Open the French doors onto the patio and enjoy yet more views, or step down into the garden and let the children run free. The main bedroom boasts a beautiful pewter frame kingsize bed, wardrobe and dressing table. There are twin beds in the second bedroom, with two single fitted wardrobes. The third bedroom is a children's room, and has bunk beds and a single fitted wardrobe.

Pump Cottage is a one bedroom former pump house that provided water to the dairy from the well, that still remains in the garden. A water theme has been maintained throughout the building, a subtle reminder of the building’s former life. The kitchen is well equipped and fully integrated, providing for all your culinary needs, and includes a washing machine. The bedroom has twin beds, but can be made up as super king size double too, and there's a wardrobe and dressing table. The shower room has a good size shower cubicle, wash basin and WC. In the sitting room you can relax with the comfy soft furnishings, TV and DVD. The french doors open out on to a private garden with a patio, garden furniture and BBQ. Make a wish in the old well!

Puddings Barn is a former dairy and tack room. Entering through a stable door, you will be greeted by a beautiful brick archway leading to the well equipped fully integrated kitchen, which includes a washing machine. The bedroom boasts a beautiful pewter king size bed, wardrobe and dressing table. The shower has a good size shower cubicle, wash basin and WC. In the sitting room you will find comfy soft furnishings, TV and DVD. The french doors open on to a private garden with original features, patio, garden furniture and BBQ.
